Cookie law
Which cookies and similar technologies lefcreative.nl uses, what for, and how to change your choice. This is the version from October 2026.
In short
- We only place the cookies the site needs to work.
- We only use Google Analytics if you consent to it.
- You can always change your choice via Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. For cookies the site does not need to work, we ask for your consent first.
Which cookies we use
| Name | What for | Retention | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| cmplz_* (including cmplz_rt_functional, cmplz_rt_statistics, cmplz_rt_banner-status) | Remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every visit | 365 days | Necessary |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* | Only for site administrators: staying logged in | Until you close the browser, or 14 days | Necessary |
| _ga | Google Analytics: recognises a returning visitor | 2 years | Statistics, only with consent |
| _ga_DWBDRS3RE3 | Google Analytics: keeps track of your visit (session) | 2 years | Statistics, only with consent |
Your browser also keeps two preferences of this site in its local storage: your choice of light or dark display (lef-theme, until you clear it) and whether you collapsed the contact card (lef-sticky-cta, until you close the tab). This data stays on your own device.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics shows us how visitors use our site, for example which pages are viewed often. This helps us improve the site. We only load Google Analytics once you consent to statistics. Google may also process data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Read how Google handles data in Google’s privacy policy.
Spam protection
On pages with a form we use Cloudflare Turnstile against spam. Turnstile places no cookies on our site, but does process technical data such as your IP address. That is needed to protect the forms; read more in our privacy statement.
Changing your choice
You can always change or withdraw your consent. Click Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or here: .
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, the site may not work as well.
